Robotic knee replacement surgery is a state-of-the-art surgery process. The robotic knee replacement is performed by highly experienced surgeons who have a vast amount of practice in using robotic-assisted guidance to conduct surgery. Before the surgery, the patients have to undergo a CT image scan to study the anatomy of the knee joint. Using the 3-D model of the joint, the surgeon uses the images to plan the surgery. In robotic knee replacement surgery, it gives higher accuracy when it comes to how implants are placed with the femoral component and the tibial component. After analyzing the exact position of the implant, the surgeon executes the incision by positioning the robotic arms. The incision is made in such a manner that only the predefined operated area is treated without affecting the surrounding tissues.
